Your Hosts

Tiffany

I’m Tiffany. I am an American, from a small town in northern New Hampshire (about halfway between Boston and Montreal) and came to Switzerland about 13 years ago. I’ve spent nearly 25 years in public relations and communications across multiple industries from the United States (U.S) Air Force, a branch of the U.S. military to healthcare and pharmaceuticals. I have lived and worked all over the U.S., South Korea, the Middle East and of course Switzerland. I love food, wine, dancing, skiing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. And having come to Switzerland single and navigated the dating world here, I found love about six years ago and now plan to make Switzerland my permanent home. I’m conversational in German and am considering applying for Swiss Citizenship.

Nisha

I am Swiss and American, native Californian, and moved to Switzerland in 2009 with my husband and daughter. I am a scientist by training, with a PhD in Molecular Biology & Immunology , and taught undergraduate level courses before I came here for my husband’s job as a trailing spouse. I worked in the growing Basel Area Pharma sector for a few years before going back to teaching Biology & Chemistry. Over the years, as a family we have traveled extensively throughout Switzerland and greater Europe, gaining valuable insights into local history, culture and traditions that have enriched our understanding and broadened our worldview. My daughter was 6 at the time of our move, so I’ve navigated the international school system. I enjoy cooking and traveling, and absolutely love the outdoors especially with my dog and family. I am relatively fluent in German and speak a bit of French.
